St Boswells Golf Club
Quotes The sixth green
The second green Idyllically set on the south bank of the River Tweed, adjoining a site of scientific importance, this 9 hole course enjoys an environment which enables the golfer to absorb a relaxed playing atmosphere which adds to the whole golfing experience. Between shots it is possible to watch anglers landing their catch or the horses on the opposite bank drinking from the river. Wildlife is ever present and the backdrop of sounds and movement just adds to a stress free round.
This parkland course is relatively flat, not too long but demands accuracy. It is not physically demanding and is an enjoyable test for all abilities. The maintenance of the course recognises the importance and proximity to the River Tweed and the need for the Club to maintain the quality of the environment.

Each hole presents its own challenge and, of course, avoiding the Tweed is of paramount importance, as a slice or a hook can bring the river into play!
The Clubhouse
The Third Green The Club celebrated its centenary in 1999 and a new clubhouse was constructed to mark the occasion. It is an excellent facility providing changing rooms with showers.
Depending on demand the catering facilities including bar can be opened on request, however the lounge is always open for visitors use. All facilities are open evenings and weekends in the peak season.
The reception given to visitors has led to the Club being recognised as one of the friendliest courses in the Scottish Borders.
